Fairyn Meares '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Fairyn Meares. I am a senior at Tennessee High School in Bristol, Tennessee. Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I started gymnastics when I was 4 years old and competed with East Tennessee Cheer and Gymnastics for majority of my 10 year career. Gymnastics brought many challenges, but it also taught me determination, perseverance, grace, and confidence. Entering high school, I decided to retire from gymnastics in order prioritize academics and pursue track and field. Although this year is only my second year in track, I have truly fallen in love with the sport. I aspire to excel in my education as well as becoming an asset to my collegiate team. My goal is to grow and challenge myself both physically and mentally. I am always looking for ways to learn, and I constantly strive to be the best for myself and my teammates.
