I have been running at the high school Track & Field level since I was a seventh grader. Since my first race, I knew I wanted to pursue running in college. I know running at this level could make the college experience so exciting and would be an amazing opportunity.
I started my running career as mainly a sprinter (200 and 400) and jumper (HJ and LJ). It wasn’t until my sophomore year that I transitioned into a multi-event athlete and hurdler (Pentathlon, HJ, 100H, 300H, LJ). I have become very passionate about this sport and enjoy working hard to reach my goals. It brings me joy to be a part of such an amazing and supportive team. I enjoy building my teammates up and seeing them achieve their PRs. The 2024 season marked my 2nd year to have been given the MVP team award from my coach. I believe I am a very coachable athlete and helpful mentor for the new coming runners. If I were to be given the opportunity to run at your college, I would be a very hardworking and dedicated addition to your program.
Right now I have been working with a private strength and conditioning coach in the postseason. I was a previous XC runner but decided to focus on track conditioning year round. Within the classroom, I am an honors and IB student with dedication to keep my high 4.0 GPA. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, Leo Club, and Beta Club. I am an active member of Young Life Chattanooga where I have found meaningful friendships and prioritize growing my faith. My faith and family have been the foundation of my success.
I want to continue my academic and athletic career in college because I can continue to push myself in the classroom and on the track. I am open to all options until I finalize my best fit. Overall, I pray that I continue to encourage those around me, achieve my goals and surround myself with a supportive network of friends and family.
