Riley Ries '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been running my entire life, from kid's miles to state championships. I have always found a drive to compete and win when it comes to running, whether that be through hitting new personal records or winning races. My biggest goal since I was younger was to find a college team that will allow me to competitively compete for individual growth as well as through team performances. I push myself to be the absolute best I can and I hold myself to a high standard both academically and athletically. While winning state championships I was also at the top of my class, competing for valedictorian.  I am a natural born leader, and I have the opportunity to lead not only my school team but also in work training new team members.  My collegiate goal is to be an active contributor to my team's success, while pursuing a degree that will qualify me for top tier employment opportunities.
