Hello,
My name is Aniyah Cross, I was born and raised in Cleburne, Tx. Since I was younger, I always wanted to pursue some type of career in sports; I quickly fell in love with running. When I was in kindergarten, I consistently had good/moderate averaged grades. My 1st grade year, I attended school in Santa Fe Elementary, where I was put in the gifted and talented program for young peers who were capable of being ahead of others. My specialty was reading at the ninth grade level. Now, I take honors classes and will soon be put in dual classes to handle some college courses that could potentially prepare me for what is to come. My mom has always been a big supporter of mine ever since she realized the athletic capability I had. Even as of now, she still to this day supports me. As of this year, i have maintained my grades to the best of my ability, and have kept up even though personally, my life has been rocky, but it all comes down to perseverance and being able to fight through anything; setting higher standards for yourself, and that is why I joined NCSA, to challenge myself to a higher level of performance, character and critical thinking not only of my academics, but also of my sport, which I cherish so dearly.
