My long-term aspiration is to become professional athlete with the opportunity of competing in the Track and Field Olympics one day. My career goal is to pursue a veterinarian degree. Track is what I love to do. However, I have a passion for the care of animals. I have the desire to help treat animals and restore their well-being. I want to continue running for a university that will match my athletic and career goals to be successful. My goal is to become a better athlete, in class, on the field, when competing and when not in competition.
I have a strong desire to succeed and to push myself to the limit, allowing me to give the utmost elite performance to my team. I like to help create a positive atmosphere in my team by encouraging my teammates to stay positive and focused. My heart and mind are competitive, and I always give my best, on and off the field, striving to lead.
My mother and coaches have always taught me to be humble. I have always represented the teams I have competed with, with dignity and respect. I am confident that I will continue to represent any University I run with, in a positive way. My work ethic and dedication, has allowed me to be a competitive athlete since a very young age. I am humble, I am coachable and always willing to accept constructive criticism. As an athlete, I am mentally focused and always ready to compete, never the less. I have learned from being a competitive athlete, that there are always ways and techniques to do things better; I have learned that there are lessons to be learned from downfalls and it how fast one bounces back from set back is determined by ones state of mental health. My education is vital to succeeding and reaching my career goals, therefore I know the importance academics play at the collegiate level.
