Running track and field in college has always been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. My parents introduced me to summer track when I was young and since then, it has become my passion. The adrenaline and the feeling of power I have while running thrives me more than any other sport. Since I was 3 years old, I started being active. First, I started with ballet, tap, and karate. At the age of 4, my parents put me in gymnastics as per my request which I did until I was 8 years old. When I turned 9, I was introduced to competitive dancing. By the age of 10, I also started running during summer with Parks and Reck. Now, I still dance competitive outside of school and run track.
The first summer I was introduced to track, the coaches told me I had a talent, and if I put my heart and soul into it, I will become even better. This is my plan, to continue waking up early to practice, attend afterschool practices, and commit to a good workout ethic so I can become a stronger and more determined runner. I am a very competitive athlete but in a positive way since I use my competitiveness to motivate myself and others to always try our best. Since I also run the 4x100 relay, I try my best to drive my fellow runners. In my view, being passionate and humble is part of becoming a great athlete.
As of now, I run the 100, 100 hurdles, high jump, and 4x100 relay
