Hello! my name is Emma Boyd. I would be so thrilled to be given an opportunity to run for your school during my time at college. I have actively run on competitive cross country and track teams with Dallas HSAA since my freshman year of high school. i started running in fall of 2017 with cross country. I have consistently been running varsity cross country since my sophomore year and I made varsity freshman year of track and have continued with it. My junior year, I was given the wonderful chance to be team captain for the women on our cross country team. Later when track season rolled around, I was again given the chance to be the women's distance captain for track. I run the 5K in cross country. In track, I have consistently ran the 1600, 2K Steeplechase, and the 3200. I promise that if you reach out and select me to run for your school, I will work hard and train as often as needed/required and help to lead my fellow team mates to the best of my ability. I am very hard working and I am not afraid of new challenges. I hope that you will consider me for your team!
