Sophia Sandoval '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophia Sandoval, and beginning my Senior year at J.W. Nixon High School in Laredo, TX.  I have set high standards for myself, breaking Area records in the 3200m, 800m, and 1600m races and improving my PR with every meet. I am a 2X State Qualifier in Cross Country and a State Qualifier in the 3200m. I look forward to the hard work ahead of me as I set my eyes on running at the collegiate level.  My competitive spirit keeps me a straight-A, gifted & talented, 4H student, who raises and shows sheep around Texas.  I carry with me the core values of the 4H program every race: Make the BEST Better.
