Heather “Danielle” Wilson '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Danielle Wilson and am a senior at Nordheim HS. I have been competing in shot and discus since I was 10 years old through AAU and have been to the Jr Olympics every year I have competed. I advanced to UIL Regionals this year in  discus, shot, and  PV, placing 6th in shot and 2nd in discus advancing to State in discus where I came in 6th place. I am not afraid to try new events and will compete where my coaches think I can help the team. This year I picked up pole vaulting. I have been taking dual credits in both History and English. I also play Volleyball, basketball, tennis, and boys varsity baseball. I have been team captain since my sophomore year for both volleyball and basketball and received district MVP in 2021 for VB. I advanced to Regionals in mixed doubles tennis, placing third. I would be a great asset to any team because I am very coachable, respectful,  enjoy trying new events, and encourage those around me. I also have a drive to be successful in what I do through a very dedicated work out routine and nutritional eating plan.
