Hello, my name is Camryn McPhaul. I’m currently a Senior at Plano West High School. In 2022, I will graduate with two endorsements, one in multi-senses and the other in STEM. I've been a member of the Varsity track team since my freshman year of high school. I run track not just for school, but also with my club track team, the NTX Jackrabbits. In the years 2018 and 2019, I was awarded All American at the Junior Olympics in the 4x4 relay. While training with my club team, it forced me to run with girls who were faster than myself. This provided me with inspiration to improve each day, especially academically . As a result, I now have a 4.0 GPA, which accurately reflects my skill and knowledge set. I'm also a member of the NHS (National Honors Society), which is where I perform the most of my community work. I’ve volunteered in food pantries such as the Storehouse of Collin County and the AC Food Pantry. Furthermore, I found myself taking other extracurricular activities, such as Art Club, where I can put my artistic inspiration on paper. I'm also a member of the "Lets Be Friends" kindness campaign, whose main goal is to promote kindness among young people and prevent bullying. This past summer , I served as an intern at Language Lab Academy. Language Lab Academy is a multilingual instructional facility for children in grades Pre-K to 12.
