Hi, my name is Rylie Eckert and I am a senior at Richland Springs High School in Richland Springs Texas.
I am a very hard-working, competitive person academically and athletically. I have worked hard to have the opportunity to compete at the varsity level since I was a freshman and am currently ranked 1st in my class. I have represented my school in XC, volleyball, cheer, basketball & track. As a multi-sport athlete and an honor-roll student, I am self-motivated and determined with good time management skills.
My love of sports started in the 5th grade when I was finally big enough to begin weight training and running with my mom’s high school team. I quickly realized my talent for running and the joy of winning. I am proud to have represented my school at the state level in XC for the last three years and track for the last two years.
One thing I am looking forward to the most in competing at the college level is finally being able to run with an XC team. Coming from a tiny school I have never had a team to run with. And although I have enjoyed my time in all other sports I am ready to focus on running.
