I fell in love with running since the 5th grade and aspire to one day run at the Collegiate level.
I ran the 200m and was a member of several relay teams my 7th and 8th grade Jr. High season.
I was the only 8th grader on my Jr. High team to advance to the District Meet where I took 3rd place in the 200m.
I have since joined a Houston area Track Club, where I train / compete outside of school during the Summer.
I compete in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and several relay teams (4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, Sprint Medley).
I am very coach able and strive to be one of the hardest working runners and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
My coaches say I have the WILL and DRIVE to improve every season, constantly getting better and faster.
I work on my endurance, speed, strength, mechanics four times per week with my club track team and with a personal track coach.
I give it my all and leave it all on the track at each competition/track meet.
Other interest and hobbies are ART and Music. I have won several honors and monetary awards for my drawings.
I am a member of the National Honor Society at my school and strive to have a high GPA.
I have played basketball in the past for an AAU team (3220 Elite), but have since opted to concentrate and dedicate myself to Track and Field.
I have a passion for running, it's my first love.
I want to be the first in my family to attend a Div. I or II University and have a career in Nursing.
I'd like to work as an ER Nurse or Surgical Nurse in the future and feel like I am making a difference in people's lives everyday.
I would love to be a member of the Track team and help the team win Conference/National Titles.
My goal is to attend college, get my education, compete/run track for the school I attend and have fun doing it along the way.
College and playing Collegiate sports is a once in a lifetime opportunity I don't plan on missing out on.
