Personal Statement
My name is SaDavia Mosley-Porter and I have been running track since I was in the 7th grade in Sulphur Springs , Tx. In my 8th grade year at Sulphur Springs Middle School I broke the school record in 8th Grade in the 100 meter dash with a 12.56. I am a 5'0, 110 pounds with a GPA of 3.80 and I will graduate in the year of 2019. In my freshman year at Sulphur Springs High School I made the varsity track team and will continue to hold on to my spot. In the Summer of 2016, I went to the State TAAF Games of Texas which was held in McAllen, Tx , I went for the 100m dash and was in the top 9. I also competed at the 2017 TAAF Regoin 7 in the 100m dash and I placed 1st. I was honored to be in the 2016 AAU Outstanding Athletes. In April 2017 at the 15-16 Class 5 A District Track Meet I got second place in the 100 meter dash time 12.71. Also first place in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays as last leg. At the 15-16 5A Area Track Meet I got sixth place in the 100 meter dash time 12.42. First place in the 4x100 relay and second place in the 4x200 relay as last leg. Junior year I was the District Champion in the 100m, 200m and 4x100, I was the Area Champion in the 100m and 200m and 4x100. I was a regional finalist in the 100m and 4x100m and ended up getting 5th in both of those events.I want to further my education in the medical field while being a Student-Athlete. My passion is track and field , I am dedicated and determined to be the best athlete. I know that I can improve , I can take hard coaching , because I know it is only for me to be a better sprinter so I can get it right. I also know that education is the most important thing, I can't hardly wait to pursue my career.
