Personal Statement
My name is Kenna, I graduate in May of 2023. I have a true passion for track and cheer. I ran 1st leg in the 4x100, 4x400, and hurdles on Varsity since my freshman year, however due to COVID etc I was only able to run two full track seasons. I worked hard my SR. year to hit my goal of running hurdles in the 15's and was a Regional Finalists and my relay team qualified for Regionals. I have a current goal of low 14's by the end of my college freshmen season and 13's my sophomore season. I have faith I can reach that goal. I work hard on improving my skills and according to my coaches am very "dedicated, encouraging, hardworking, and coachable". I would love the opportunity to excel and realize my true potential academically and in a sport I love. I believe in excellence! My other accomplishments include, 4-time All-American Cheerleader, and in volleyball, although I am 5'5 I was 2nd in district for blocks and 4th in kills.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. ... Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”.
This is my verse that keeps me strong, gives me focus and strength to do all things the Lord has intended for me. He is my strength!
