Steffene Cheeks '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Steffene Cheeks, I'm a senior at Chancellor High School in Fredericksburg VA. I participate in Track&Field and very interested in Business and Marketing. My main focus is High Jump and I have competed for five years 7th,8th,9th,10th, 11th grade. Over those five years my jumps have steadily improved, in middle school I set the All-county record at 4'11" placing first. In high school "sophmore year" I set the record at 5'4" at the regional meet tying for first. I went on to states placing 6th over all out of 25 girls. My junior year i broke my previous high jump school record now setting it to 5'6" I also hold the Culpepper Invitational record at 5'6" as well. I have competed in the junior Olympics this past summer also competing in the New Balance Outdoor National where i finished 14th.

I would love to find the right school that will allow me to excel academically as well as on the track. My future goals are to my own business .
