Hi, my name is Jacqueline Clardy-Josephs. I am a Cross Country/Track and Field Runner. I started my career during my freshman year of high school. I wasn't heavily invested in the idea of running, but I have a guilty conscience and decided to keep up with it. The following year I moved to a new school and underwent extensive training. It was from there that I decided I was good enough to run in college. I can't think of any time in my life where I didn't run. It is because of this that I feel I am strong enough to move forward with a collegiate career. I personally feel I would be a good candidate for any team because I am first and foremost coachable. I take instruction extremely well and do my absolute best to trust the coaches judgment for my workouts and races. Secondly, I am from a military family. This makes me disciplined not only for myself but those around me. I come to the team with views on life, sports, and any other topic of the world differently than others. This makes me a well-rounded person on the field and in the classroom. Lastly, I am motivated. I want to run in college at all costs. When I started this journey I was willing to go to college and not run on a team. However, as I got faster and understood what the sport was all about, I realized that I was worth the time and energy for any college coach looking to add someone else to their roster.
