AwardsRecipient of the Headmaster’s List Award, given to students who achieved exceptional grades in all subjects (4x) Inducted into the “Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, Juan Carlos I Chapter” the Spanish honor society in my high school Inducted into the Quill and Scroll Society, an honor society for high school journalists
Activities- I work at Playful Pack (a doggie daycare) during the summer as a front desk and pack staff (in the back with the dogs) - I am a co-founder/co-president of Young Activists, a club at FHS At Young Activists, we facilitate and invite discussions that deal with contemporary, controversial, and thought-provoking topics. Topics included black lives matter, islamophobia, antisemitism, stop Asian hate, DC statehood, the insurrection on January 6, understanding the voting process, understanding how the US government functions, political activism, gender-related issues, and false equivalencies. We have used research, presentations, and member participation to create a conducive environment that enhances and promotes candid discussions - I am a member and editor of the Flint Hill Literary Magazine - I am a member of Young Democrats, a club at FHS - I am a member of March For Our Lives, a club at FHS - I am a co-chair of Events/Fundraisers for the Project Turquoise Youth Committee. Project Turquoise is a USA-based nonprofit relief organization that provides aid to displaced families and refugees in the USA and abroad. I have managed several fundraising events, raising thousands of dollars for the organization. - I am a member of my Flint Hills “Inclusive Leadership Council” - I babysit for serval families
