I've been a track athlete for two years and I'm heading into my junior year. I'm devoted to doing well in college and I've committed to track. My objectives are to gain admission to a division 1 or division 2 university with strong business/finance or architecture departments, as well as a strong track program with supportive coaches who can help me succeed. Until I get to know you, I'm quiet and reserved but I am coachable.
Sports participation has always been a part of my life. Although it isn't always easy for me, I work very hard in the classroom, but track just comes naturally to me. I have played volleyball since I was in 5th grade and I also played travel for two seasons.I have played school and travel basketball.
My ninth-grade year, I attempted soccer as a dual sport along with spring track. I actually thought volleyball was the path I was taking until I ran track. I enjoyed it more than I expected. My sophomore year, I participated in indoor and spring track. Along with running with my teammates, I enjoy running the 4x800. We push one another to perform better. My focus is mid distance.
I have heard for many years a vocational skill was important, but I wasn't certain what I wanted to do. Last year, it came together for me. I decided to apply for the drafting program and I was accepted. I also want to go into real estate. I'd like to own my own company someday.
I hope I will be a good fit for your school and your track program.
