I started track in 7th grade but It wasn’t clear until I qualified for states my freshman year that I fell in love with track and decided I wanted to have a future in the sport and run on a professional level. Through track I have learned that I am a goal-driven and dedicated student-athlete and i’m willing to put in endless amounts of work to reach my goals. Being team captain since Outdoor my sophomore year, I’m also a strong team leader and easily coachable. I push myself year round competing in indoor, outdoor, AAU, and cross country teams as well as lifting. My academic goals are to major in nutrition or exercise physiology at a school that challenges me athletically and academically.
