Helena Ducusin '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Helena Ducusin and I am currently a senior at John F. Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien, WA. I am a long distance runner, and I run cross country and track. I have been running track since kindergarten, and cross country since fifth grade, when my dad started the team at my school. My main races in track are the 1600m and the 3200m. I would really love to continue my running career in college. I literally grew up running, and would be honored to have to opportunity to compete collegiately.

Additionally, I am currently on the honor roll with a 3.94 cumulative GPA and the Vice President of the National Honors Society, and President of the ASL Honors Society. I take multiple honors, AP, and college courses, and am very dedicated to my schoolwork. I am also involved in the band, playing flute, oboe and french horn, choir, and I'm the Choir President.

I really hope you would consider me to be a part of your team in the future. I take my athletics very seriously and I am willing to put in the work needed. I try my hardest at everything I do, and I believe I could be a strong addition to your team.
