My name is Ilayna Murray, and I am currently a rising senior. On the cross country team, I've had the honor of serving as the team captain for two consecutive years and was recently appointed captain of the track team. These roles have not only fueled my passion for the sport of running but have also taught me invaluable leadership and teamwork skills. My journey in cross country has shaped me into who I am today. The sport has taught me to give my all in everything I do. I would love to continue running at a collegiate level. I love to run and I love the community as well. I also want to pursue sports physical therapy in college.
