My main goal throughout this process is to use my athletic abilities to further my academic career and get an education. I also want to find the best school to help me reach my full potential. Everyday I work to become better by focusing everything I do on how it will make me a better competitor, student, runner, and person. I do this through balancing school, both club and high school practices, a job, extra-curricular activities, and more. I use my time wisely and I do not take anything for granted. My Honors and AP classes have pushed me academically and I try to challenge myself in my courses. Athletically, I have a lot of untapped potential. All of my accomplishments so far have come from natural, God-given ability which is why I am looking forward to working with strength and nutrition coaches as well.
I stay busy with school, track, and a number of extracurricular activities. At my high school I am involved in Student Senate, Best Buddies, National Honors Society, Volition Youth, ECO club, and peer tutoring. I play CYM basketball, and I am the captain of the cross country team. I also volunteer frequently at my church, including participation in our church handbell choir. My faith is an incredibly important aspect of my life as I would not be where I am today without the abilities that God has blessed me with. Finally, one of the most influential portions of my life is my family. I am one of nine children and have a a large extended family who make up my greatest group of supporters. I am confident that wherever I decide to go to school, they will be getting a hard-working, energetic, and loyal student athlete.
