Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Nina Morrison and I am a Junior at Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI. I am a pole vaulter with a current PR of 10’ 6”. With the 2020 track season in jeopardy, I am focusing on at-home training and my studies. I am hopeful that this summer, I have the opportunity to put all of my off-season training to the test. I continue to love this sport because the technical aspects of pole vaulting are very similar to gymnastics, which I have competed in for many years. I also love the community that exists in this sport. I would like to be a college athlete as I have been a part of a team since early grade school and value being in that environment. I believe I would be a great addition to any team as I am energetic, supportive and have a tremendous work ethic.
