Emily Sorensen '25 Recruiting Profile

    My collegiate goal is to participate in Track and Field as a Heptathlete. I am an accomplished athlete and have enjoyed the blessing of participating in several different varsity sports all four years of my high school experience. In Track and Field, I have competed in Wisconsin State Finals each of my high school years, in multiple different events, and am training for and hoping to reach that level in two additional events this year that I am learning. I am a determined person and a diligent student-athlete, and I give my best to everything I do. 

    I am very interested in Marine Biology, and am looking for a University with a strong Marine Biology program. That being said, I am also interested in many other career paths, and am open to trying new things whenever God presents the opportunity. I have a strong background in Art, Music, and Mathematics, and have enjoyed each of these opportunities.

    I currently have a 4.095 GPA, am ranked number one in my class, and have gotten straight A's Freshmen through first semester of Senior year. I want to find a college where I am challenged to grow stronger and faster, both academically and athletically. I welcome conversations and encourage Team Coaches and Athletic Directors to reach out if they think their school and athletic program would be a good fit for me.
