 Growing up on a ranch has taught me plenty, including there is never an ideal time for most things. You just have to buck up and get it done, no matter how much you would rather do the exact opposite. This lesson has influenced my "never quit" attitude; to always finish any job you start. This is one of the things I love about mid-distance and distance racing. Most often, you just have to grind through and push past the pain. This same attitude has been applied to my academic studies. My entire high school career, I have challenged myself academically. Education is just as important as athletics. I want to attend an institution who values both equally. I am excited for the future and hope to find a college who has similar standards.
