I hope to extend my volleyball career as a setter into the collegiate level. I feel that I would be a good candidate because I am a leader on the court and a versatile and capable player. I have played on many teams of different skill levels, and have developed my on-court character to be positive and encouraging of my teammates. Athletically, I have diverse skills from playing multiple sports (volleyball, basketball, softball, and soccer), sometimes practicing two sports in the same evening. I take pride in my ability to play balls out of the net and am not afraid to hit the floor for a dig. Academically, I attend a small college preparatory school, which participates in the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) at the 2A Class level, and maintain a 4.26 weighted GPA while balancing sports and school. On my last ACT I scored a 27. I intend to retake the ACT to improve my score. My aspiration is to major in secondary education (mathematics) and possibly coach high school volleyball.
