Jasmine Davidson '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was in the 5th grade.  I have quick movement on the court that has earned me the nickname scrappy-do.  If it comes in my area of the court I will dig/dive deep and get the ball.  I am the positive cheerleader and try to encourage my team mates even if we are not winning.  I have "A never give up" attitude.  I am very coachable and strive to be the best I can be by working hard on and off the court. 

As a student, I understand the first part of STUDENT athlete.  I have maintained an "A" average in all of my classes during my high school career.  I am not just an athlete and scholar, I'm also creative in the arts.  My musical talents includes playing different instruments and I perform as a singer.  Last summer I wrote and recorded my first song.  In my spare time I write and illustrate books.  My creative writing skills started before I could write.  My parents have short stories that I narrated when I was 3 and 4 years old.

I want to attend a school where I can best cultivate all of my interests.  Somewhere I can push myself on and off the courts.  I'm open to all opportunities and I hope to become a productive member of society that I can say ____________ university helped me to achieve my dreams and goals.
