Hello Coaches,

I am AbbyJo Garrett, and I am excited to share my journey as a dedicated volleyball player. For the past 3 years, I have been honing my skills, and I am expected to graduate from Sulligent High School in 2027.

Currently, I play on the Junior Varsity volleyball team at Sulligent High School in Alabama. From a young age, I have been captivated by the sport, having first picked up a volleyball in 7th grade while living in Guin, AL. I immediately fell in love with the game and have been committed to improving ever since.

As a versatile athlete, I started as an outside hitter on the back row. Although I had much to learn, I dove headfirst into researching the position and making necessary adjustments to my technique. This dedication allowed me to apply my newfound knowledge and excel in that role.

In my second year (8th grade), I set my sights on becoming a middle blocker and become one. I devoted countless hours to drilling and seeking guidance to develop the skills required for this position. This relentless pursuit of growth has been a hallmark of my volleyball journey.

I am writing to you, esteemed coaches, to express my deep passion for the sport and my aspirations to continue my athletic and academic pursuits at the collegiate level. I am a driven and hardworking individual who never shies away from a challenge.
