Hello, my name is Kenzie.
I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old. Over the years I have grown to love the sport and have a true passion for playing. I aspire to play at the collegiate level, and I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I am a diverse player and although I prefer playing outside hitter, I am happy to play wherever the team needs me. I have played both Right Side and Middle Blocker as well. I believe in leading by example and positively encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and want to help in any way that will bring my team and coach success. I am always stiving to improve my skills both in season and in the off season by attending camps.
Maintaining a high GPA is important to me. This can be difficult with the time commitment that both High School and Club volleyball take during the season, but I find the time to prioritize my schoolwork so that I do not fall behind. I am also a peer mentor at my high school where I guide, support and advise all incoming students to foster an accepting community where everyone is driven, comfortable and connected.
I recently moved from Alaska to Idaho for my senior year of high school and I want to attend a college where I can pursue my passion for playing volleyball. I am open to all options and want to find the right collage match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a role model for my peers and make my family proud.
