Melina Quintana Solis '25 Recruiting Profile

I've been invested in the volleyball world since 5th grade and I knew I wanted to continue my journey within the sport since 8th. The area where I'm from doesn't allow for a lot of sports opportunities. On top of that, my parents, my sister and me are all immigrants to Canada from Mexico leaving little opportunities for us, but this just makes me work harder for my goal of playing at the college level. I go to all practices and any camp I can attend. Putting in the work and soaking up information that my coaches give me. I'm a fast learner in most areas and enjoy being part of a team. Along with playing volleyball, I want to pursue Sports Management and excel in my academics as well.
