Hello my name is Kenzie Bills, I am an international student born and raised in Edson Alberta, Canada. I have been playing volleyball since the sixth grade and have pursued this passion for 2 years at the collegiate level. I am a highly competitive multi sports athlete who is passionate about volleyball and possess strong ethics both on and off the court. I am a team leader who believes in leading by example. I am highly motivated and play all sports with integrity and respect. I have been team captain for all my club season years and have always supported and encouraged my teammates. I have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to improve and always strive to exceed my own expectations while consistently working with my team mates to achieve the highest level of play.
I have the ability and skill to be a versatile player, during my high school years I was a middle hitter, an outside hitter as well as a libero. During my collegiate career I was a defensive specialist, a middle hitter and an outside hitter. When discussing preferred positions, I am very open to coaches input and advise on where they best see fit for my contribution to the team. I am not afraid of hard work and I have been successful in balancing family, sports and academics and understand that it takes passion, hard work and determination to succeed.
Freshman year I attended Glenville State University where my collegiate career began. I graduated with my associates degree in Criminal Justice finishing with a 4.0 GPA and I am currently attending Central Maine Community College to finish up my Associates degree in Forensics science. During my time at Central Maine Community College in the YSCC Conference, I was named First team all conference and outstanding offensive player of the tournament during our hard fought match to win the conference championships. I hope to continue my lifelong passion and love for the sport of volleyball in the upcoming school year 24-25 as well as completing my bachelors degree in criminal Justice with the intent of pursuing my masters degree on completion.
