My first year participating in the AIA Division 3 Girls State Volleyball Championship in 2014 was the most rewarding experience throughout my volleyball career. We had come back from losing so many points to winning the match, and the results set volleyball history for my high school. This event had taught me the value and importance of team work and positive attitudes. This was also the year that I had rarely been played on my club team as well as being told my stamina wasn't satisfactory. Being the competitive person I am, I worked to prove them I was the best option. Ultimately, I earned a starting position the next club season and participated in the Junior National Championship in the summer of 2016.
