I started playing volleyball seriously in 7th grade. I was selected to play on my Charter School's new high school JV team that year (we only had 9th and 10th grade and rules allowed them to move up middle schoolers to fill a team). I loved my coach and volleyball became my passion. In 8th grade I was selected to play on the Varsity team. Being exposed to this high level of competition at my age is something I am very grateful for. Off season I played at Future Stars 2018-2019 and attended college volleyball camps during the summer. This year, 2019-2020 I am playing 14U Elite with AZ Sunfire Volleyball club.
My ultimate goal is to play volleyball on the collegiant level. I believe if you have a dream and are willing to work hard, anything is possible. I had someone tell me I started too late. That has only motivated to get be better and be stronger. Now when people see me play, they cannot believe how long I have been playing and this is my first season in club. I look foward to developing my skills over the next four years during my "real" high school years.
