Anastacia Garcia-Johnson '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anastacia Garcia-Johnson and I am a 5'9" junior setter from Phoenix, Arizona. I have started on the Saint Mary's Catholic High School varitsity volleyball team for the passed two school seasons. This passed year we were awarded second place All-Region Team. I have had 4 years of club experience (this year being my 5th). Last year we took first place at our in-town tournament, the Fiesta Classic. Some of my greatest accomplishments come from my academic skills. I maintain all A's and I have a current GPA of a 3.929.

Some of the intangibles I possess are hard work and responsibility within my school work and as a teammate on the volleyball court. I also see myself as being a positive and motivating leader, which is why I was co-captain for my school team and a head captain for last year's club season. I would hopefully like to pursue a career in the medical field. A goal of mine is to go to a prestigious school for both education and athletics. I wish to be an important aspect of a college team to achieve great success by performing at an outstanding college.
