Hi, my name is Maleah Behrens and I attend Lonoke High School at Lonoke, Arkansas. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I am hoping to pursue an education in athletic training or something along those lines. I love to play volleyball, learn languages like Spanish or ASL, and watch movies. Volleyball has always been important in my life because my mom played it in high school and I fell in love with the sport at an early age. Competing at a high level for volleyball is something that I enjoy very much and I am determined to succeed. I am 6'0" tall and I have a good vertical so I usually play as a middle hitter for club and high school, however, I am also well versed in the positions of opposite and outside hitter. I also usually play backrow and pass for one rotation in school and in club, but I have worked extremely hard to say that I am confident in my passing skills as well because I want to be a diverse and helpful player. I actually spent most of my time in quarantine working on my setting skills, which were not very strong, and I was able to play as a secondary setter in school sometimes because I excelled further with my skills. I am also able to read volleyball plays pretty well and I like to think that I am a strategic player. I want to always be challenged to be the best player that I can possibly be and I am ready to be a team player at a college level. This is why I'd love to compete at a high level college with some of the best coaches and players there are!
