Emily Kuykendall '18 Recruiting Profile

I intend to major in psychology in college in order to pursue a career as a school psychologist. I began playing volleyball in seventh grade and have been in love with the sport ever since. I strive to be the best on and off the court; this is demonstrated through my cumulative high school GPA being a 4.1. Not only do I have a strong GPA, I have also been involved in ASB, FFA, and community service work. How hard I have pushed myself in all my endeavours shows how great my work ethic truly is. For the past three years, I have been the leading hitter with the most amount of kills and the highest hitting percentage on my team. I also ended my junior year season with the secondest highest hitting percentage in my section. I have received the offensive player of the year award for the past two years as well. I am a competitive person by nature and look forward to developing my abilities at the next level.
