Emily Sims '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball for five years. I believe a good teammate should always put 100% in everything thing they do on the court and off the court. A good teammate will do what is best not just for themselves, but for the team as well. They should be committed to the team. I think what makes me different from others is that, I always try my best not just for myself but for my team. I believe if you don't win a game its ok, what matters is how you played on that court. Did you carry your teammates in a positive and good manner? Did you give your all into the game? Did you encourage your teammates when you were on the bench? I ask myself these questions. I believe that its very important if you represent those three questions, because I firmly believe that its important to give your all in a game, no matter what the situation is. I believe if you don't encourage your team, you're not just hurting the team, but you're hurting yourself.  What makes me different from different recruits in character is that, I am a really hard worker, and dedication is very important to me. I don't only represent my school on the court, but I always represent my team and school in a good and respectful manner off and on the court.
