Alana Lockart-Van Olst '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alana Lockart- Van Olst. I have played club volleyball for the last 7 years. I will play 18s in 2025. During this time I have been a starting 6 rotation Outside Hitter and Libero.  I would make an ideal Libero/ DS in college. I am told by my coaches I am extremely versatile. 

My sophomore year I saw action in over 50 matches.  I also won Most Valuable Offensive player for my high school indoor team (2022). Last year (2023) I changed schools to Dana Hills High School where I was put on Varsity and was able to attend CIF with my new team (2023 quarter finals, 2024 semi finals). I also play Varsity Beach (2024) at Dana Hills High School. We made it to CIF last season. 

I consider myself an extremely dedicated team player.  My goal is to go to college and play volleyball. I love learning about human anatomy, nutrition and psychology. I have learned how to overcome many set backs and have a strong belief in myself that I can achieve my goals.
