Hi! My name is Joanne Velasquez. As a dedicated and passionate volleyball player, I am excited to take my skills to the next level by competing at the college/university level. Throughout my high school career, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to the sport, both on and off the court. My goal is to not only contribute to the success of the team but also to continue to grow and develop as a player. I am eager to learn from experienced coaches and teammates, and to push myself to new heights. I am confident that my strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn make me an excellent fit for your team. What sets me apart from other recruits is my unique combination of athleticism, academics, and character. As a student athlete, I have developed strong coordination and agility, which have allowed me to excel in various positions on the court. Additionally, I am an honors student with a strong academic record, which has taught me discipline, time management, and effective communication skills. Off the court, I love and enjoy helping people and my community. My passion for giving back has instilled in me a sense of responsibility and compassion, which I believe will benefit my teammates and our community.
