Leticia Vaz '22 Recruiting Profile

My life goal is to become a veterinarian doctor, due to that my collegiate goal is to get in a college that provides me with a good biology course that gives me all the skills necessary to later go to veterinary school. I've been playing volleyball since I was 9 years old and I never stopped improving, I see myself as an athlete that knows how to deal with what is new by adapting quickly, and knows how to listen and receive guidance from my coach. 

 I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I practiced for 5 years at the Bernardinho's volleyball club (who was the Brazilian Olympic team coach). When I turned 14 I moved to California and got into my High School's team. Coming from a totally different cultural background, I am used to accepting different points of view and deal with diversity.
