I genuinely fell in love with volleyball at age 8, that was when I began my first club team all the way till now, at age 16. My mother was on the National Iranian Women's Volleyball team. The passion she has for volleyball is the same passion I have, which is the same passion I use to push myself for the sport I love. Growing up I was always captain to my team which benefited my communication, teamwork, leadership and sense of how volleyball truly is not an individual sport.
From the moment I began volleyball I knew I wanted it become a huge aspect of my future and promised myself that I made sure I would give it a 110% to make sure that happened. I am a very strong player both physically and mentally. I am very coachable and am determined to take every critique I am given to benefit me at the best of my ability. I am quick, energetic and have a very powerful serve.
I know I want to be a student athlete in college. I want it. I will work for it. I have struggled in my past with my academics and volleyball due to previous events that have occurred in my life but I have learned to push forward and strive to become the student athlete I know I can become for myself, friends, coaches, and my family.
