Delaney Blied '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a 4 year university where I can be a part of a team that's like a family, be a part of a volleyball program that is important to the school culture, and enjoy every opportunity college has to offer.  As of right now, I am interested in majoring in Sports Medicine and staying around athletes and that environment.  I love playing volleyball for many reasons, but one of the main reasons is because of the relationships I get to build with my teammates and coaches.  I really enjoy having close connections with my teammates on and off the court and I believe that when you're close as a team, the team performs better.  I have always had good relationships with my coaches as well.  They have all helped me to be not only a better volleyball player, but a better person too.  As a very competitive person, one of my favorite things about volleyball is the competition.  I love to push my team and myself to get better everyday and always play our hardest.  Having teammates who compete with each other during practice and training is so beneficial because it helps us grow and improve faster, which helps improve our team’s overall success.
