Megan Nguyen '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Megan Nguyen and I am a class of 2026 libero/ds. However, my abilities are not limited to backrow defense as I also have experience as an outside/opposite hitter and a setter. My goal as a college athlete is to continue my career in volleyball while also dedicating much of my focus to my studies and academic career. I aspire to attend a 4 year college or university which allows me to play high-level volleyball while also actively pursuing my major in Biology. My ability to balance being a student and an athlete is displayed in the results shown by both of these roles during my first two years of high school. In volleyball, I am extremely dedicated to the sport and have so much passion for playing, which is evident as I almost never miss a practice, game, tournament, or an opportunity to get any extra training. I have experienced many wins and losses with several different teams, but I always keep a positive mindset and bring high energy and support to every single one of my teammates. As for my academics, despite spending much of my time playing volleyball I never turn in assignments as late or missing and my grades have stayed consistently high throughout my freshman and sophomore year.
