Personal Statement
I began playing volleyball around age 7, mostly outdoor then i began to progress and I moved to playing club. I began playing mostly because all of my family played and so did my older sister but now I know that this is something I truly love to do. Playing Volleyball has helped me realize how much I can actually achieve. It gives me more confidence in myself because I know that there is something that I am good at doing.Playing volleyball has also helped me learn that no matter how hard something can be you should never quit, just like when you are having a rough game you do not give up you keep striving to do your best. One of the hardest obstacles that I have had to overcome is that when I have to realize that I can not do everything right, everyone makes mistakes and I'm not the only one.
My goals are to play in college level volleyball and pursue my playing as much as possible. I would be a good candidate for your team because I give 110% or more in practices games and even outside of volleyball. I am different from other recruits because I have known what I have been wanting to do with my volleyball career and life career as well. On the team I am coachable and able to work with teammates. In academics I work hard and strive to do my best. I have a good jump float serve, and I have good accuracy with serving zones and I can keep my serving accurate. As a libero i have a good bump set to the right side and the outside.
