Kaitlyn DeLong '24 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball is almost always the highlight of my day. I am 6 rotation outside hitter, who also loves playing back row.  One of my favorite volleyball moments was when my 15s team won gold at the Las Vegas Classic, USA division. I saw what can happen when you commit to the coaching and trust your teammates to play the best that you can. However, I learned the most later that year when we went to nationals and did not qualify for the gold bracket early in the tournament. This was disappointing but it only pushed me to work harder and better my game.  I am a competitive athlete that has been fortunate enough to work with a variety of coaching styles and teammates. I have worked to absorb as much knowledge as possible from these resources which has shaped me into the athlete I am today. I am competitive and versatile making me a great asset to your team!
