Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Brooklyn. I am starting my Junior year at Lincoln High School. This is my 3rd year starting on my Varsity team and I was honored with being Co Captain of my team last year. I had the opportunity to play on America’s team this summer in Italy. It was an incredible experience to learn and play with new teammates. I strive to continue to grow my skills and reach my dream of playing at the collegiate level and beyond. I am thankful for my coaches and teammates. I have good leadership skills and I like to be there for my team on and off the court. I have played all positions, but I love playing Libero/DS and Outside Hitter the most. I hope that my hard work on the court, at practice and in the classroom will help me continue to play the sport I love.

Constantly checking spacing and court positioning to put herself in a great position to make the play. Communication - Great communicator; organizes and directs teammates well and communicates frequently. Explosiveness - Great quickness and explosiveness, especially in the first step or two.
