Hello, I am Hailey Keith and I am a junior at Ann Sobrato High School in Morgan Hill, California. Being a freshman being on varsity, it was difficult to adjust and being one of the youngest players on the team made me a little uncomfortable. I was forced to come out of my shell and I can now say that volleyball pulled me out of my shell and has gave me more confidence and has made me a better athlete overall. I also have been captain for my club team for 4 years now and this past school season I was chosen to be captain for the varsity. I have also been featured in the Morgan Hill Times dating back to my freshman year on varsity. Recently, I recieved all league player for the season.
The most important attributes for an athlete is hard work, encouragement to others, precision, and dedication to your team, and I can say that I have these qualities. I have been a captain for my club team for 4 years and high school for 1 year, I can say that being a leader is the most important job on the court. I believe that most of an athletes time should be dedicated to bettering themselves. With that being said, I set up daily workouts that consist of bettering my skills and athletic ability.
I am very interested in studying education with children. My passion is helping kids in any way possible, and I have lots of experience with this as well. I have worked many volleyball camps with 8 year old and also volunteered at my mother's preschool over several summers and plan on continuing. Currently, I am the Assistant Coach of Martin Murphy Middle Schools girls volleyball team. I am very to coach these girls into a fantastic season!
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
