Kimberly Flores '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to major in astronomy because of my longing to study space, and to play volleyball in college.  I believe I make a good candidate because of the heart I have for this sport;  I have put in many hours of training to build my skills and become a stronger player.

What makes me stand out is that I have faced many obstacles in my life, but I have come out stronger and focused just on playing.

What makes me different athletically is of how long I have been playing; I started when I was 3 years old and it is my passion. Before middle school it always made me so eager to be on a team, and now that I am in high school, I realized that my passion and desire for this sport has grown so much to where I cannot see myself not playing in college.

What makes me different academically is seeing how badly I had struggled in middle school with my grades because of the big changes that I went through in my life. Now that I'm in high school and focusing on making the right choices, and by the grace of God, I had improved and it had showed through my grades currently.
