I am eager to play volleyball in college because I really value being a part of a team. All throughout my competitive volleyball career, I have learned more and more about what it means to be a leader and a team player. I am always determined to put in hard work for my team, no matter how difficult the game is. I really value strong work ethic and determination, so I will always bring that to my team.
Another reason I love volleyball is because of the personal growth I have experienced. I have always been very competitive, and I love battling each point to get the ball up. I will not let any ball hit the floor! I have learned how to get in the right mental state for success, and I am still learning how to read the court and find the best way to win the point.
In college, I hope to gain a greater understanding of myself and the world around me. I have always been very drawn in to math and science, and I hope to study chemistry, astrophysics, biology, or other sciences. I am also passionate about the arts. Dancing, painting, and all things creative have always played a big role in my life. While I am still a sophomore in high school, I am very open to discovering a new path that I might want to follow for my collegiate career.
