Jacqueline Wahl '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jackie and volleyball has been a huge part of my life for years. After participating in many sports growing up, I was introduced to volleyball in fourth grade and fell in love with it ever since. I started club that year and haven’t stopped playing since. I played at a club in my desert, at DSVC, for 6 years, than decided my sophomore year to move to Rancho Valley Volleyball Club to gain new advanced coaching and to grow myself as a player. Starting high school I made Varsity my freshman year. I was, and still am, an all-around player and became Captain my sophomore year and continued to be during my current junior year. Last year, I was honored to receive League Offensive MVP. This year, my team worked hard to win our DEL League and worked all the way to the State D3 Finals. I was honored to receive All CIF in D5, First-Team in league, MVP for the second year in a row and Volleyball Player of the Year for the Coachella Valley. Volleyball has had a huge impact on my life for 7 years now and Is something I’m extremely passionate about and love playing. All of the coaching and opportunities I have been blessed with have encouraged me to be the best athlete I can be and do all I can to pursue my dreams in playing at a higher level.

 Although Volleyball is very important to me, school is something I also a major part of my life and is something I really work hard at. I love going to school and learning and taking on challenges on a daily basis. I hope volleyball will guide me to an education that will be beneficial in pursuing my dreams and goals for my future. This sport has always been something I'm passionate about and can see myself being involved with in some way for the rest of my life. I would love to play at the collegiate level and continue my passion as I continue to develop my skills along with my academics :)
